James was born in Lake Mills, WI, and has six brothers and one sister. His family lived on a small farm where they raised animals that the kids loved showing at their county fair. James’s favorite pet was their goat, Betty. He was a decathlete at the University of Wisconsin and enjoys cycling, running, and golfing with his kids. He and Dr. Dunkleberger have been married for 19 years.

Dr. D and staff are always friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately I have a bad gag reflex and her staff has many different ways to help me when I get X-rays. My wife saw them for an emergency tooth ache and although her issue was beyond what they could do Dr. D gave a recommendation and her husband James called on my wife’s behalf and made her an appointment for the next day because she was in so much pain.
